Eleanor and Park

Gamer: Greetings, Internet!

Today I'm doing a review by myself as this is one of my favorite books and although I have been egging the Bookworm to read it for ages, she shows little interest. Some bookworm she is.

This book is Eleanor and Park, by Rainbow Rowell. She has written several other books that I haven't read but are probably really good so you should read them.

Eleanor is the large, redheaded new girl who wears brightly colored men's clothes and strange accessories. Park is the half-Korean boy that has just enough social status to keep him out of trouble. They meet on the school bus, and after a period of just ignoring each other, they bond over music and comic books, and soon, everything else.

Wow, okay, that was a really bad description, but seriously, it's such a good book. You should read it. But, get parental permission first, if you're under 13, and even if you're older than that, because this is definitely a teen book... But really, if you are old enough or have permission, read itAnd, I know it sounds sappy and sweet or whatever, and it is, but even if you aren't into that, read it anyway, because it's so good and everyone should read it, except for little kids. Seriously, this is not a book for little kids.

G rating: 9.57823464/10.

Au revoir, internet.

"Eleanor was right. she never looked nice. She looked like art. And art wasn't supposed to look nice. It was supposed to make you feel something."

P.s. sorry about the font colors, I don't know what's happening, and if they don't show u don't worry about it and forget this ps and what are you doing reading this you should be reading eleanor and park go buy this book right now please and tell me how much you loved it etc.

Kill The Boy Band

Bookworm: Hello Internet!

Gamer: Greetings, Internet!

B: Recently, both The Gamer and I read and enjoyed a book!

G: We should really be more specific. We read Kill the Boy Band by Goldy Moldavsky!!!

B: Here's the cover, isn't it "great"?

G: Luckily, the cover is the worst part. It's a pretty good book! We both enjoyed it! It's about what happens when fangirling goes too far, so far that four girls actually kidnap the most pathetic member of their favorite boy band, The Ruperts.

B (sarcastically, I've read the book): Tell us how he is pathetic, The Gamer!

G: Well, The Bookworm, his "job" in the band is juggling. Also, he's a jerk.

B: This is a good time to mention that this book is not for readers under twelve.

G: Unless you have approval from your parents.

B: I personally really enjoyed this book. I thought it was well written and the characters were marvelous.

G: I think that the characters could have been deeper, but otherwise I quite liked it.

B&G rating: 8.13478/10

B: Farewell, Internet!

G: Au revoir, Internet!
